Groups Reach Places Individual Therapy Can't
Some forms of healing need other people. Group therapy provides what individual sessions can't: the recognition of 'you too,' the in-the-room practice of relational skills, and the experience of being witnessed by peers who actually understand. For many clients, the combination of individual and group is more powerful than either alone.
Groups We Run
Groups rotate based on demand. Recent and current offerings include:
- LGBTQ+ adult process group
- Recovery support group (substance use)
- Inner child work for adult survivors of childhood trauma
- Women's mental health group
- Men's mental health group
- Codependency and boundaries group
What to Expect
Most groups run weekly for 90 minutes, with 6–10 members. There's a brief intake session before joining so you understand the structure and we can confirm fit. You can stay quiet your first sessions — there's no pressure to share before you're ready. Confidentiality is the same as in individual therapy.
Cost
Groups are typically less expensive per session than individual therapy and are often a good way to extend your work without doubling your fees. Some groups are billable to insurance; others are self-pay.
